工研院是台湾最大的产业技术研发机构,更是开创台湾半导体产业的先锋。工研院运用了研发环境的独特性,以及透过绵密坚实的产业网络关系,链接区域或产业的研发能量,积极协助台湾各产业发展与升级。近年来各国车厂都不断的投入资源来开发使用替代能源的车辆,电动车便是其中的一个发展重点,身为台湾最大的产业技术研发机构,工研院也在多年前与台湾车厂合作,投入电动车的开发,但在开发测试的过程,车辆有许多重要信息必须被检控及记录,以做为日后分析及改善的依据。由于InduSoft包含了远程监控、数据库存取及完整的通讯功能,因此工研院选择以InduSoft开发,使其成为电动车开发案的一个管控软件。

As InduSoft includes remote monitoring, database access and complete communications capabilities, ITRI chose InduSoft to develop it as a control software for EV development.
