历来,人们谈到文学特征时,总是说文学是以语言描绘社会生活的,正是在这一点上,与绘画用色彩、线条描绘生活有根本区别。这种说法,在一些论文和教科书中司空见惯。其实,略加思索就感到它并不精确。因为,社会生活本身的色彩,琳瑯满目,五彩缤纷,反映这种社会生活的文学作品显然也是一个五彩缤纷的色彩世界。如果我们要对这个用语言描绘出来的色彩世界进行专门的研究,就很需要色彩学的帮助。
Historically, when people talk about literary characteristics, they always say that literature is a portrayal of social life. It is precisely at this point that there is a fundamental difference between painting and painting with color and lines. This argument is commonplace in some papers and textbooks.
