江苏省是一个人口大省,1993年全省共有人口6967万。在省委、省政府的正确领导和各部门的共同努力下,我省计划生育工作取得了显著成效,全省人口出生率和自然增长率分别为13.97‰和7.36‰,计划生育率达90％。 为保证计划生育工作开展的需要,中央、地方的党和政府制定了一系列的经济政策。从江苏看主要有: 1.经费投入政策。中共中央、国务院《关于加强计划生育工作,严格控制人口增长的决定》中指出:“八五”期间,各级财政用于计划生育的事业费支出要由
Jiangsu Province is a large population province. In 1993, the province had a total population of 69.67 million.
