滦河发源于内蒙古高原,中游横穿燕山山地,自滦县大桥向南流入下游平原,在乐亭县王庄子公社汇入渤海,全长877公里,流域面积约44,900平方公里。 滦河是渤海湾北岸一条强流量多沙性河流。据滦县站实测,年平均流量148米~3/秒(历年最大洪峰流量34,000米~3/秒,1962年),年平均悬移质输沙量2,670万吨(最大8,790万吨,1959年)。
Luanhe originated in the Inner Mongolia Plateau, Yanshan mountain passes through the middle reaches and flows southward from Luanxian Bridge to the lower reaches of the plains. It flows into the Bohai Sea at Wangzhuangzi Commune, Laoting County, with a total length of 877 kilometers and a drainage area of 44,900 square kilometers. Luanhe is a strong flow and sandy river north of Bohai Bay. According to the measured data of Luanxian Station, the annual average flow is 148m ~ 3 / s (the maximum peak flow in previous years is 34,000m 3 / s in 1962), and the annual average suspended sediment transport capacity is 26,700,000 tons (up to 87.9 million tons in 1959 ).
