东方与西方艺术的相遇,是一个延续千年的漫长历史过程,也是一个饶有趣味的历史研究课题。东西方艺术在不同历史时期的相互遭遇与融合,都为各自艺术的发展带来了划时代的巨大变化。近现代以来,西方艺术对包括中国、日本等东方国家艺术的渗入以至巨大冲击,导致东方各国艺术都经历了一个现代化转型的长期过程,同时对东方艺术的吸收与借鉴也促动了西方艺术从古典向现代的激变,这是一个显而易见的历史事实。然而历史的发生并不是一个简单过程。本期〖国际视野〗刊载的两篇文章分别从不同角度回溯、再思近代东西方艺术的相遇,对我们深入认识历史和现实具有启迪意义,值得读者特别关注。
The encounter between the East and the West is a long historical process that continues the millennium. It is also an interesting historical research topic. Eastern and Western arts in different historical periods of mutual encounters and integration, all for their respective artistic development has brought epoch-making tremendous changes.
