农业是国民经济的基础。因而,认真探索农业现代化问题,研究我国目前农业现代化道路选择,是中国当代经济的一个重大课题。但与外国相比,中国农业科技有着发达的过去,落后的近代。晚清末年是中国传统农业向近代农业转变的重要阶段,在中国农业由封建传统型向近代型转变过程中,西方农业科技的引进起了很大的催化剂作用,对此有必要进行深入的考察研究。而其中张之洞在中国传统农业向近代农业转变的过程中起了重要作用。他的农业科技思想实践对中国农村近代化起到开辟新的发展方向的作用。
Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy. Therefore, it is an important issue for China’s contemporary economy to seriously explore the issue of agricultural modernization and to study the current path of agricultural modernization in our country. However, compared with foreign countries, China’s agricultural science and technology have developed past and backward modern times. The late Qing Dynasty was an important stage of the transformation from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture in China. During the transition of Chinese agriculture from the feudal traditional type to the modern type, the introduction of Western agricultural technology played a great catalytic role and it is necessary to conduct an in-depth study the study. And Zhang Zhidong played an important role in the process of the transformation of traditional Chinese agriculture to modern agriculture. His practice of agricultural science and technology plays a role in opening up a new direction for the development of rural China’s modernization.
