秋去冬来,寒气袭人。北方露地生长的蔬菜,大多在风刀霜剑威逼下萎凋了,唯有菠菜苦斗严寒,不改其苍翠之本色。诗人苏东坡写诗称赞它“北方苦寒今未已,雪底菠薐如铁甲”。 菠菜,原产波斯,唐代传入我国,开始称波斯菜、菠薐菜、赤根菜。由于这种一年生或二年生的绿叶蔬菜生长周期短,适应性强,富含多种维生素和矿物质,而且“周年供应月月有,绿叶常青四季鲜”,所以深受消费者欢迎。
