The electronics industry is the first pillar industry in China’s national economy. Its output value this year accounts for more than 30% of China’s total exports. In order to meet the needs of the rapid development of the electronics industry and better provide the electronic industry with satisfactory copper and copper alloy materials, China Nonferrous Metals Processing Industry Association and China Electronic Materials Industry Association jointly held the “China’s First Copper Alloy Materials for Electronic Industry Seminar meeting”. The meeting was held in Beijing from December 16 to December 18, 2002. It was an unprecedented gathering of production, study, research and use with more than 150 delegates.
