在以往粮食产量不足以自给的情况下,培育高产品种确属必要.然而自党的十一届三中全会以来,正确方针政策的推行,农民生产积极性提高,种植技术有所改进,目前粮食已有初步剩余.为了适应外销和满足人民生活水平提高的需要,培育兼具优质、多抗、高产性能的品种,为当务之急,因此,我们培育出汕花62号水稻新品种.
