Compaq Global Services announces a global consulting and systems integration partnership with Cap GeminiErnst & Young, with a focus on CRM and e-procurement. As both companies have solid strength in the financial services and telecom markets, the new alliance will focus on these two areas. Compaq’s CRM solutions are said to use Oracle software and are based on Compaq platforms and services and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young’s Business Consulting, a coalition of consulting and service types sought by business customers by combining strengths and creating targeted products rather than serving a single business. Compaq Global Services Jeff Lynn, the company’s vice president and general manager, said the non-exclusive
