Mintage gain is a Medieval King of England with a coinage obtained by a fiscal revenue. During the period of periodic recirculation of currency, it is mainly levied by means of changing molds; during the period of non-recirculation of the currency, the seigniorage is the main method of collection. In the late Middle Ages, with the diversification of tax sources, the contribution of the mint yield to the revenue decreased day by day. This reflected that the financial revenue of the king of England turned mainly to the major tax-oriented trend with the feudal privilege income as the mainstay.
