厦门爱乐乐团2003年第六个音乐季的开季首演，由笑籍华人指挥家董麟先生执棒拉开了序幕。在这次为纪念柴可夫斯基逝世110周年的音乐会上，董先生选定了柴可夫斯基具有代表性的作品《第二交响曲》。音乐会是在由董先生设计的、被厦门人民引为骄傲的“金色音乐厅”举行，它那和谐的共鸣，传达了每个声部甚至每个音符所要表达的情感，也吸引了众多的“爱乐者”。
Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra in 2003 the sixth season of music debut, by the Chinese nationality conductor conductor Tung Lin kicked off. At this concert commemorating the 110th anniversary of the death of Tchaikovsky, Tung selected Tchaikovsky’s representative “Symphony No. 2”. The concerts, designed by Mr Tung and held by the Xiamen people as the pride of “Golden Concert Hall,” resonate harmoniously and convey the emotions expressed by each part or even every note, and attract many “Philharmonic.”
