刘教授是国内著名的农业遗传育种专家,虽年逾古稀退休在家仍笔耕不辍、著书立说。春暖花开的一天上午,我去看望这位德高望重的师长。言谈中,刘教授告诉我:这半年来有时突然觉得头昏眼花、视物不清、右手“不听使唤”,无法握笔写字,但这些症状一会儿便消失了,一切恢复正常。每月发作二三次。出于一个医生职业的敏感,我嘱他尽快去医院检查。结果不出所料,刘教授患了“短暂性脑缺血”,经采取一系列防治措施,这些症状再也未出现。
Professor Liu is a well-known expert on agricultural genetics and breeding in China. Although he retired from old age and still worked hard at home, he wrote a book. Spring morning, I went to see the respected teacher. During the talk, Professor Liu told me: In the past six months, I suddenly felt dizzy and blurred vision. My right hand did not listen to me, and I could not hold the pen for writing. But the symptoms disappeared for a moment, and everything returned to normal. Two or three times a month attack. For a doctor’s job sensitive, I asked him to go to the hospital as soon as possible. As a result, Professor Liu suffered from “transient ischemic attack”. After a series of prevention and control measures were taken, these symptoms never appeared again.
