大豆根潜蝇主要在大豆苗期为害。成虫在子叶及复叶上用产卵管刺破表皮后舐吸汁液,形成小孔或枯斑。幼虫为害根颈及地下部分,造成条状伤痕,以至形成肿瘤;后期被害部变褐,根毛短,根瘤及侧根减少,生长衰弱,重者叶变黄以至枯萎、早落。由于幼虫在皮层内为害,形成大小不同的肿瘤或根皮裂口,呈现“破肚”现象,营养运输受阻,植株矮小。受害严重的,整株枯死。轻的,到七月初幼虫化蛹后,根部伤口形成愈合组织,长
