生姜是调味菜又是中药材。它原产于亚洲东南部亚热带森林区,适宜生长在气候暖,土质松软,水肥充足的地方。我县处于较高纬度区(37°34′45″),适宜生长期短,多年来人们一直想引种,但都因产量低、品质差(姜块嫩味淡)而失败。近年来地膜覆盖在农业上大量应用后,笔者在地膜覆盖生姜栽培上搞了两年试验,初获成功,使生姜的栽培适区由北纬36°向北推移两度。试验结果见表:
