新丰实验林场共有天然次生林6万亩,(灌丛13,000亩,疏林13,000亩,成过熟林4,000亩,幼壮林30,000亩。)大多是萌生的山杨纯林或杨桦混交林。几年来,共抚育改造森林32,000亩,生产木材24,000立方米,各种小农具材110,000多件,烧柴1,860万斤。为了培育利用好这些林子,根据林分清况,划分了如下几个类型,分别采取改造或抚育措施。
Xinfeng Experimental Forest Farm has a total area of 60,000 mu of natural secondary forests (13,000 mu of shrubs, 13,000 mu of sparse forests, 4,000 mu of over-ripened forests and 30,000 mu of juvenous and Zhuang forests.) Most of them are poplar or poplar mixed forests.
