数学教学重视知识形成的过程是当前数学课程改革一个重要的理念。《数学课程标准》(以下简称《标准》)认为:“要让学生亲身经历将实际问题抽象成数学模型并进行解释与应用的过程。”让学生经历这个过程,不仅可以体会一个数学问题是怎样提出来的,一个数学结论是怎样得出的,某一数学知识是怎样应用的等等,从而加深学生对所学数学知识的理解;而且,在这个充满体验和自主探索的过程中,学生逐步学会数学的思想方法和用数学方法去解决问题,进而获得成功的体验,增强学好数学的信心,最终学会学习。
