本刊二、三期登载物探公司研究室化探数统组写的《对区域化探中应用趋势分析的几点看法》和王义为写的《趋势分析与最小二乘法》两篇评论性文章,他们针对趋势分析用化探资料整理和解释上出现的一些问题,提出某些看法,这是好现象,值得提倡。近来,化探界对一些多元统计方法在化探中的应用效果有争论,有的提出非议,有的予以肯定,这不是说明多元统计方法不能用于化探资料的整理和解释,相反倒是说明这方面的应用比以前更加深入了。争论是科学繁荣的表现,是好事。一门学科的某些方面愈是争论得激烈,各种流派就应时而具,于是各立门户,并存争驰,这门学科的发展就更快、更全面、更深入了。科学春天的到来,春意盎然,本刊欢迎成为百花争艳的园地。
