For several nights, I came out of the cinema and walked alone in the Latin Quarter, walking home along St. Michel Avenue. In the middle of the night, walked through the brightly lit Audienne and strolled to the Boulevard of Saint-Germain, looking out at the flower gods and the double-glory Hua Cai, then rue de Rennes, staring at the night Montparnasse tower, step by step Forward, as if walking in the new wave of black and white movies. Asked or skimming two or three people on the road, or the cars galloping past, hit the street lights, roadside bus stop billboards. These nights, loneliness sometimes floods, just as thoughts are overwhelming. Paris night, with the day, is so different. People who come to Paris will always be on the tower and look at the city from a height. If you ask me, I will say, must see in the evening, depends on the night of Paris. That is another Parisian. One who taught heartbreaking Parisians, one can be sad
