2006年10月12日,山西省医疗纠纷人民调解委员会(以下简称医调委)在太原挂牌成立,《人民日报》称,这是国内首家省级医疗纠纷调解专业机构。医调委在成立一年多来,成功调解了数百起医疗纠纷案件,深受医院和患者的信任。然而,正是这样一个机构,却正在经历着严峻的生存危机。尤其是经费问题,迟迟得不到解决,让医调委的运作举步维艰。
