道路交通事故是一个严重的公共安全问题,是全球第八大死因,中国道路交通事故总量、万车死亡率、事故死伤比都高于发达国家,交通事故除了给个人、家庭和社会带来巨大的损失外,还给国家或地区经济带来沉重的负担,已成为危害我国群众生命财产安全,影响社会和谐与稳定的重要因素之一。为降低交通事故造成的人员伤亡以及经济损失,提高道路交通管理效率,交通事故信息化管理是必然趋势。随着信息技术的发展革新,可以利用日积月累的大量数据,运用科学分析方法对事故原因进行准确分析,预测事故发生概率,进而指导政策的制定。这些分析方法的使用能够得到交通事故成因的准确分析结果,投入小而收效大,进而制定有针对性的对策来降低交通事故发生率。
Road traffic accidents are a serious public safety issue and the eighth leading cause of death in the world.
