腐蚀金属的表面电位常对腐蚀速度有决定性的作用。电化学保护就是利用外部电流使金属电位发生改变从而抑制金属腐蚀的技术,它只适用于电化学腐蚀的情况,并分为阴极保护和阳极保护两大类。 电化学保护不仅可以防止新设备的腐蚀,而且对旧设备也有效,可延长其使用寿命。同时,由于采用了电化学保护,设计时可减少腐蚀裕量或用低合金钢取 Corrosion of the metal surface potential often have a decisive effect on the rate of corrosion.
