Since the bubble economy burst, the Japanese economy has plunged into a long-term depression. The low economic growth rate, the continued appreciation of the yen, the Japan-US friction caused by the massive trade blacks, the significant price gap between inside and outside Japan, all of these factors are forcing Japan to make changes in its economic structure in the past. However, due to the immense restrictions on all aspects of Japan’s social and economic life, the closed market and exclusive trading habits have created a powerful resistance to such changes. Therefore, in recent years, Japan and other countries both at home and abroad have called for the relaxation of restrictions and market liberalization. According to this, the Japanese government and nationals have also placed great expectations and concerns on this issue.
