《嘉应乡情报》是梅县地区的一份侨报,创刊于1985年元旦,四开四版。创刊以来,根据海外华侨社会的实际情况,向侨胞、港澳台胞传递乡音,起到了宣传政策,服务桑梓,增进乡谊的作用。目前,除在国内发行外,已有一部分发行到美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、毛里求斯、留尼旺、泰国、新加坡、印度、印度尼西亚、巴基斯坦等国家和港澳地区。实事求是,避免空洞的政治说教侨报的宣传对象是外籍华人、旅外侨胞、港澳同胞和台湾同胞。他们中的老一代人,大多数是在解放
