Didanosine, also known as dideoxyinosine or dd I, is a human immunodeficiency virus inhibitor developed by the U.S. Brethren-Meyers BC Company. Listed in the United States in 1992 under the trade name Videx. It is the second drug approved by the United States to treat HIV infection following the Zidovudine Zidovudine launch.
