中国地質学会於1950年12月24至26日,在北京、南京、蘭州、广州、杭州等地,同時举行第二十六屆年會。总會的年會於24日上午九時半,在北京大学北樓禮堂開幕,在三天會議的過程里,全體會員始终表現了高度的團結及科学鑽研精神,熱烈的討論了許多問題。在年會的內容上,与以往的年會也有本質的不同,正如學會書記孫雲鑄教授在会務報告時指出的,已往中國地質学
China Geological Society December 24, 1950 December 1950, in Beijing, Nanjing, Lanzhou, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and other places, held simultaneously the twenty-sixth annual meeting. The annual meeting of the General Assembly was held at 9:30 a.m. on the 24th at the Peking University North Hall.
