With the first batch of rural women stationed in the industrial area along the southeast coast in the early 1980s, China has set off the largest wave of non-agricultural transformation in contemporary human history. 250 million migrant workers in rural areas not only make a significant transformation of the structure of industrial workers in our country, but also include a series of reconstruction of social relations including social culture and lifestyles. As one of the earliest private-owned social work agencies in China, the Beijing Municipal Association of Social Work Development Center started a series of exploration of local social work services in the spring of 2003.
