《孔子學刊》(以下簡稱“學刊”):首先感謝葛先生接受我們的採訪,對於儒學史上最重要的人物——孔子的評價,歷史與現實中有種種不同的説法,很多人主張科學客觀地評價孔子,您對於孔子是如何定位的?葛志毅先生(以下簡稱“葛先生”):我的老師金景芳先生是絶對尊崇孔子的,他十分熱愛中國文化,故對孔子的評價極高,極其推崇,我十分認同這一態度。現在我們進行學術研究,主張客觀科學地評價孔子,但是我認爲人文學科不能過分強調客觀。

Now we carry out academic research and advocate an objective and scientific evaluation of Confucius, but I do not think the humanities discipline can overemphasize the objective.
