在最近几年中,全国许多小学陆续开设了英语课程,李岚清同志说:“外语教学中的教材问题、教师问题、语言环境问题等等都很重要,但是重要的还是教学方法问题。”可见,学英语教学的方法问题是教育界所关注的问题,也是每位从事英语教学的教师需要探索的问题。前苏联教育家霍姆林斯基说:“新的智力活动依赖于兴趣。”小学英语教学大纲也明确指出:“小学英语教学的目的就是激发学生学习英语的兴趣和培养能力,使学生敢于大胆开口,并获得一些英语的感性知识……”因此,在小学英语教学中,教师应该树立正确的教学观念,采用多样的教学方法,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使他们带着兴趣去学习英语。
