■国务院新闻办、工业和信息化部、公安部、文化部、工商总局、广电总局、新闻出版总署等7部门1月5日在京召开电视电话会议,部署在全国开展整治互联网低俗之风专项行动。国务院新闻办副主任蔡名照在会上讲话时指出,网上低俗之风泛滥,严重危害广大青少年身心健康。会议要求,各地各部门严格执法,对在网上传播淫秽色情信息和低俗信息的不法分子,要依据有关法律法规和管理规定严肃处理。
Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Culture, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, State Administration of Radio, Film and Television and Press and Publication Administration held a teleconference on January 5 in Beijing to deploy a special program to tackle Internet vulgarity in the country action. In his speech at the meeting, Cai Mingzhao, deputy director of the Information Office of the State Council, pointed out that the prevailing vulgarity in the Internet has seriously endangered the physical and mental health of the majority of young people. The meeting called for all localities and departments to strictly enforce the law and strictly handle the illegal elements that disseminate pornographic and vulgar information on the Internet in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations and administrative provisions.
