In the previous issue we discussed the advantages of ramjet, design options, and tender for UK BVR air-to-air missiles. This issue we will introduce the application of ramjet on a variety of missiles. The increasing demand of over-the-horizon SAMs for extended-range VSAT missiles will inevitably lead the missile design department to seek to use the stamped jet cruise engines as the power plant for air-to-air missiles.
