姜夔的《扬州慢》是一首追怀丧乱、感慨今昔之作。南宋高宗时,金兵曾两次南侵。建炎三年(1129),金兵攻占扬州、全城焚掠一空;绍兴三十一年(1161),金兵再度南犯,扬州又遭严重破坏。扬州复遭洗劫后十五年,即南宋孝宗淳熙三年(1176),姜夔经过扬州,目睹空城,怆然感慨,写了这首词。全词表现了作者悲凉痛惜的思绪,系姜词中反映现实较为深刻的一篇。
Jiang Yan’s “Yangzhou Slow” is a piece of meditation and emotion. During the Gaozong period of the Southern Song Dynasty, Jin Bing had twice invaded the south. Jian Yan three years (1129), Jin Bing captured Yangzhou, the city burned down; Shaoxing thirty-one years (1161), Jin Bing committed another South, Yangzhou was severely damaged. Fifteen years after the revenge on Yangzhou, that is, the three years of the Southern Song Dynasty Emperor Xiaozong (1176), Jiang Yan passed Yangzhou and witnessed the empty city. The whole word expresses the thoughts of the author’s desolation and deplorment, which is a more profound one in Jiang’s words.
