一、遗址概况永平遗址是吉林省白城地区一处重要的古代大型建筑址,位于洮北区平安镇永平村东南约300米处,北距平安镇1.5千米,南至三甲村1千米。遗址所在地地势开阔,略有起伏,最高处突出于地表3~4米。遗址东部的一处旧河床为洮儿河支流。根据《白城市文物志》中记载,永平遗址总面积可达1 3600平方米,存在9处基址组合建筑群,地表遗物丰富,该遗址被命名为辽金时期的“马家窝堡寺庙址”。2009年4~9月,由于珲(春)一乌(兰浩特)高速公路白(城)一石(头河子)段施工线路经过永平遗址,为配合该项基本建设项目,吉林省文物考古研究所对永平遗
