2012年4月11日,中国石油化工集团公司董事长傅成玉在中石化总部传达了温家宝总理的指示,要求油田部要集中力量,尽快选定一个区块,高标准建成我国第一个页岩油气产能示范区。5月8日上午,中石化油田勘探开发事业部组织中石化勘探南方分公司、江汉油田分公司召开工作联席会,正式启动了“涪陵大安寨页岩油气勘探开发及产能建设”项目。它的实施将对我国加快页岩气勘探开发进程产生积极作用,具有重要的战略扣现实意义。公司提出了明确的项目任务目标,做出了具体的分工,项目由江汉油田分公司、勘探南方分公司共同完成,其中江汉油田分公司主要负责产能建设,勘探南方分公司主要负责勘探评价。
