通过对影响张掖地区甜菜生产主要限制因素的分析，指出依靠科技是提高甜菜生产水平，走出徘徊不前困境的有效途径，并针对当地甜菜生产实际，提出了提高单产和含糖率的关键措施。
Based on the analysis of the main factors that affect beet production in Zhangye, it is pointed out that relying on science and technology is an effective way to increase sugar beet production level and to get out of the dilemma. Based on the actual situation of sugar beet production in our country, the key measures to increase yield and sugar content are put forward.
