导读主要是指导和引导阅读,说的是图书馆工作人员利用文献资料和有关条件通过多种工作方式引导读者按照社会和现实的需要阅读有关文献,实现正确理解文献内容和有效利用文献的目的。高校图书馆导读工作是高校图书馆服务工作的核心部分,也是图书馆服务工作中最积极、最活跃、最富创造性的工作。并且,导读工作对于高校图书馆的发展意义非凡,一方面能够帮助学生更好地利用图书馆,另一方面又能加强图书馆的建设。因此,做好高校图书馆导读工作对于做好图书馆服务,切实保障读者权益具有重要意义。
