我们大队位于潍河西岸,地处平原。总耕地2,800亩,其中粮田2,200亩,常年种烟400亩。过去粮、烟单产较低。无产阶级文化大革命以来,在毛主席革命路线的指引下,我们认真贯彻“以粮为纲,全面发展”的方针,实行烟麦间作、烟薯间作,大力培植二茬烟,获得粮烟双高产。1976年粮食亩产达到1,700斤;春烟单产638斤,360亩二茬烟单产186斤,二者平均亩产805.5斤,其中有9亩二茬烟,单产达到372斤,80亩二茬烟
