前几年,美国主要利用粮食来开发生物燃油——乙醇。在目前全球粮食危机的大环境下,美国研究机构开始调整研究方向。把科研重点转向以废木材、枯草、垃圾和海藻为主要原料,提取生物燃料。美国科研部门投入了大量人力和物力,研究从海藻中提取清洁燃油,目前研究已取得突破。据悉,美国能源部下属的埃姆斯实验室正在利用激光成像法检测植物的燃油提取量,以便寻找更好的燃油植物。与传统检测法相比,激光成像法具有时间短、精确度高、材料省(只需截取一小块植物)和不破坏植物生长等优点。
A few years ago, the United States mainly used food to develop bio-fuel ethanol. In the current global food crisis environment, the United States began to adjust the research institutions. Focus scientific research to waste wood, hay, garbage and seaweed as the main raw material extraction of biofuels. The research department in the United States has devoted a great deal of manpower and material resources to studying the extraction of clean fuel from seaweeds. At present, research has made breakthroughs. It is reported that the United States Department of Energy under the Ames Laboratory is using laser imaging method to detect plant fuel extraction in order to find better fuel plants. Compared with the traditional detection method, the laser imaging method has the advantages of short time, high precision, material saving (just taking a small piece of plant) and not destroying plant growth.
