Scientists are now able to see through the living human brain and observe how it handles all kinds of information. A person uses a part of the brain while listening to music; another part is used when he is doing a math problem. The above differences can be observed on a new machine. This machine is called a positron emission tomography X-ray camera. University of Pennsylvania will use the greatly improved performance of the machine for this experiment.
