目前,旅游业已经成为我国的支柱产业,在国民经济中发挥着越来越重要的作用,旅游业的高速发展离不开旅游人才的支撑,但从目前旅游人才的供需来看存在严重矛盾,一方面旅游专业的毕业生找不到就业岗位,另一方面旅游企业招不到高素质#高技能的应用型人才$因此,如何解决供需矛盾,提高旅游管理专业的教学质量,培养出符合旅游业发展需要的具有完备的旅游管理专业知识又具有较强的业务操作能力、服务技能、创新能力的旅游管理人才是一个亟待解决的课题。实践教学是实现理论与实践有效结合的重要途径,是提高学生业务操作能力、服务技能等职业素养和实践能力的根本保证。
