气候与土壤等环境因素对品系产胶水平、年周期产胶动态和割胶制度的安排,有着密切的关系.制订合理的割胶措施和提高割、管、养的水平,须考虑当地环境特点和年周期产胶动态规律,做到措施因地制宜,有的放矢.汕头垦区是我国北部滨海植胶区,环境因素具有它的规律性,据多年来气象记录和八年来(1971—1978年)的割胶生产实践,试就本区产胶特点与提高产量的途径,提出一些看法.
