新的历史时期,民族宗教工作非常重要,可以说关系到国家的统一、社会的稳定、民族的团结,也关系到社会主义现代化建设事业的顺利进行。我们要充分认识到新时期民族宗教工作在党和国家的全局工作中的重要地位。江泽民总书记对民族宗教工作是非常重视的,多次强调“民族宗教无小事“。特别从国际国内的大背景出发来看,世界上许多的纷争,是民族与宗教问题交织在一起,这个问题处理得好不好,是直接关系到国家安危的大事。所以我们一定要把民族宗教工作放在重要位置。我们要牢固树立马克思主义的民族观、宗教观。从事民族宗教工作的同志首失要有马克思主义的民族观、宗教观,才能做好新时期的民族
