A kind of color-changeable glaze with Nd_2O_3 ascolorant has been developed in Shiwan CeramicResearch Institute,Fushan,Guangdong province,The sintered glaze displays a lilac color undersunlight,pink under incandescent light,reddishblack under mercury vapor,tile-grey underfluorescence,and changeable color under sodium-vapour lamp—the color changes in the order oflilac-tile grey-dark blue-orange red,varying withthe excitation time(i.e.the wavelength).
