“营卫血气”说,是祖国医学基本理论体系之一。“温病”论者,并以之为辩证施治纲领,作为疾病分类,病势发展,以及诊断和治疗的根据。其重要性不言而喻。从字面上看,“营”有营养,或经营之义;或作荣,则有荣华之义。“卫”有卫护之义,“血”即血液;惟气的意义,在此处或系指正常生活活动的动力而言。此四者连合协调,营为人类机体的日常生理过程,似乎没有可以怀疑的地方。有人把“营血”与“卫气”相提并称,但不若并列的意义为
