“气候设计”是一种按人的舒适要求和气候条件来进行设计的基本方法，是改善建筑热环境的重要途径之一。气候设计对建筑形态的发展有很大的制约，同时也是创作的重要源泉，它构成建筑作品的深层结构。利用工效学的原理，对严寒地区传统建筑进行分析，从中找出了建筑形态发生、发展和成熟与特定气候条件之间的密切关系。强调设计创作的地方性，并提出了我国严寒地区建筑的“气候设计”原则。
“Climate design” is a basic method of designing according to human comfort requirements and climatic conditions, and is one of the important ways to improve the thermal environment of buildings. Climate design has great constraints on the development of architectural forms and is also an important source of creativity. It constitutes the deep structure of architectural works. Utilizing the principle of ergonomics, this paper analyzes the traditional buildings in cold regions and finds the close relationship between the appearance, development and maturity of the buildings and the specific climatic conditions. Emphasize the localism of design creation and put forward the principle of “climate design” for the buildings in the cold area in our country.
