不久前,民盟江苏省委召开参政议政工作会议,民盟中央副主席张梅颖,民盟江苏省委主委曹卫星、副主委兼秘书长于琨奇等出席了会议。张梅颖在会上传达了中共中央总书记胡锦涛前不久走访民盟中央机关的指示精神,并指出,总书记的走访极大地激发广大盟员崇高的使命感和巨大的政治热情。民盟各级组织要深入基层,密切联系群众;求真务实,积极开拓进取;转变作风,努力营造团结、稳定、振奋、活跃的工作氛围。广大盟员要深入学习、细心领会中共十六大精神,不断加强自己的政治理论素养,提高参政议政水平,顺应形势的要求,增强参政议政的主动性。
Not long ago, the CDU Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee held a conference on participation in politics and state affairs. Zhang Meiying, vice chairman of the NLD, Cao Weixing, chairman of the CDU Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and Yu Kunqi, vice chairman and secretary general attended the meeting. Zhang Meiying conveyed at the meeting the instructions of CPC Central Committee General Secretary Hu Jintao on his visit to the Central Organization of the Democratic League. He pointed out that General Secretary’s visit has greatly stimulated the lofty mission and tremendous political enthusiasm of the vast majority of members. Organizations at all levels of the League for Democracy should go deep into the grassroots and closely contact the masses; seek truth and being pragmatic and actively forge ahead; change their working style and strive to create a united, stable, exciting and active working atmosphere. The majority of allies should study in depth and carefully understand the spirit of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. They should constantly strengthen their theoretical accomplishments in politics and improve the level of their participation in politics and state affairs. They should follow the requirements of the situation and enhance the initiative of participating in the deliberations and administration of state affairs.
