In accordance with the instructions of the CPC Central Committee on strengthening cadre education, our school held a two-year economic theory course in April 1982. After passing the exam, 90 students were admitted to the school with a minimum of 35 years of age and a senior high school education, of which 20% were college graduates. Seventeen courses were offered in two years, taking the first, second and third volumes of Capital as the main course, accounting for about one half of the total academic hours. Through the study, though everyone still grappled with the first draft, it has profoundly realized that this scientific monograph of Marx is of great immortality and full of tremendous vitality.
