In order to identify anti-hepatotoxic active ingredients, a carbon tetrachloride-induced rat primary culture hepatocyte toxicity test was used as a screening system to separate the active ingredient Epimedium from the aerial parts of Korean Epimedium koreanum and pass it through. Determination of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and sorbitol dehydrogenase released by the carbon tetrachloride poisoned hepatocytes to the culture medium
