由欧洲包装联合会主办的1989年欧洲之星包装设计评选活动于1989年10月26日在意大利米兰举行。来自欧洲各国的37件参赛作品中。荣获欧洲之星奖和大赛荣誉证书的作品各8件。全部获奖作品在米兰Packintec包装展览会(11月7日～11日)上予以展出。由英国、意大利、丹麦、瑞士和荷兰代表组成的本届大赛评委对参赛作品进行了认真评价,主要研究了包装使用的材料是否合适,包装是否展现新发展,消费者是否愿意接受,以及包装对环境的影响。评委们认为这次获奖的包装作品质量很高,有些包装与其内装的高档产品相配十分
The 1989 Eurostar packaging design competition organized by the European Packaging Federation was held on October 26, 1989 in Milan, Italy. 37 entries from all European countries.
