胰腺疾病合并神经精神症状的文献报道较多,而关于忧郁状态对胰腺癌的早期诊断意义也有各种各样的看法。胰腺炎亦可并发各种神经或精神症状,以往称为胰性脑病(Pancreatic encephalopathy)。
